Museums – Amsterdam

Amsterdam packs world-class museums within short distances, from Golden Age masters to modern art and science. Most museums require booking a ticket and time slot.

Combined ticket

The I amsterdam City Card bundles entry to many museums with public transport, while the Museumkaart covers hundreds of museums across the Netherlands.

Free admission days

Children under 18 enter most museums free, and the Rijksmuseum is free for under-18s. During Museum Night in early November many museums stay open late.
